Sergei Rusakoff is a San Diego artist with a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York.

“I’ve always dreamed of living in Southern California. Finally, in 2005, my wife Marina and I both quit our jobs in New York and came to welcoming warmth and vibrancy of San Diego. Ever since, I’ve been striving to capture nuclear fusion of the sun reflecting in an ocean of mercury. Each of these paintings is a unique monotype, created by floating paint on water and then transferring to paper”

Sergei’s art incorporates the Turkish Ebru technique of parttern marbling by applying color pigments and with making cleaned clear photography our team homeconcierge.ie to the surface of an oily substance and then transferring this pattern to paper.

Sergei’s art has been shown in several solo and group shows throughout San Diego.
